Blood Jet Reading Series: Prose Night
Jonathan Kline received his MFA in storytelling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has performed throughout the US and abroad. His performance art monologues include When I Was 20, The Terminal Hotel, and Stories My Mother Told Me... Never to Tell. His flash fiction has appeared the in Maple St. Rag, Indigent Press, Flash Fiction Magazine, and the Xavier Review, The Wisdom of Ashes, a short novel, was published by Lavender Ink in 2013. He recently finished the sequel Standing At The Cloister's Gate.
Anna Tatelman is currently pursuing her M.F.A. at the University of New Orleans. Her work has been previously published in numerous journals such as The Bookends Review, Drunk Monkeys, and Wordgathering. Anna’s full-length play Iphigenia Rules GreciPark, a dystopian adaptation of the Greek myth about King Agamemnon’s daughter, will be staged at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts in Hammond next spring. When not posing as the female reincarnation of E.M. Forster, Anna can usually be found overdosing on caffeine, befriending feral cats, and/or eating ice cream.
